Default H/C cars inside..

What is the big secret? I asked this question a long time ago and a few responded.. What does everyone see when they check their MAF Rate at full throttle with 28lb injectors? This is not a tuning question. I want to know what H/C cars are seeing.. We have cars that dyno from 380rwhp to 455rwhp on 346ci H/C cars.. The MAF Rate has to be relevant. I hear that for every 10lbs/min = 10 rwhp or something like that.. If this is remotely true then it would be interesting to see how much the high horsepower cars are taking in.. Thanks in advance..

I tried logging the flow rate today but ATAP crashes with an error when I try to play back. I will download the newest version and install it tonight. On a good note it was fun doing a WOT run in third to 7000rpm
Cheers,
Chris

ps when comparing this data it will be good to know the gear, rpm, rear axle gear, and weather.
also a stock MAF must be used (screened stock MAF preferrably as a descreened stocker like I have will show slightly less reading)

I will have to check for that one day. I used to get "MAF High Frequency" codes all the time when I had ported MAF ends but with the stock descreened ends I do not.

This stems from another post made by Chris.. MMS reported that Chris should be seeing between 42 and 48lbs I think.. I want to know if this is the norm..

Above 6K rpms at WOT, I was only seeing between 37-41 lbs..

Traffic was out of line today, so I only got to go WOT in 1st and 2nd gear.

I'm not sure how much of a difference there would have been in 3rd and 4th gears.

I have a stock MAF sensor.

An 'old wives' tale' that I once heard (in the LT1 world) was that 1 g/sec ~ 1.1 rwhp M6.

So, if you were pulling ~350 g/sec, you'd rw dyno about 385-390 RWHP.

It's up to you to convert g/sec to lb/min.

I use an SLP 85 mm MAF, I haven't really dynoed with the stock one, I might try it though to see what kind of difference there might be..

Thanks guys.. I think it is closer to the 10lbs=10rwhp thing.. Mine reads 39 to 40lbs consistently and when I had my LS6 MAF on it read up to 44lbs to 46lbs, but I do not think that was accurate. The screen was out of it.. That puts me about 400rwhp with my cutouts closed..
