coating is a very good idea.
if ou decide to do it, make the best of it. the more parts you have coated, the more power is freed up.

the bearing idea is good because the motor does not have priority main oiling

if at some point you stare it for oil, it should survive a little better due to the dry film lube type coating on them.

its easy and really inexpensive insurance.

I plan to rebuild my motor due to it is stock with over 50K miles and over 5 bottle of NO2. I am going to change to FI, but I am concerned with the stock piston breaking or rings worn. I am only going to run a max boost of 10psi. My real question is on the bearings. More Performance sells Federal Mogul bearing for the LS1. A complete set of standard bearings cost $150 and a set of coated bearings cost $320. Who much of a benefit are the coated bearings. Would they worth twice the cost?
