who has changed rod bolts with out pulling engine who has changed rod bolts with out pulling engine. How difficult is it. Please explain thanks alot guys.

Re: who has changed rod bolts with out pulling engine In a C5, it is fairly easy because the oil pan is completely exposed. In the Fbody, I have heard it can be a real b!tch. Kinda like dealing with keepers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: who has changed rod bolts with out pulling engine for an fbody, you have to pull the engine out. the fit between the the oil pan and the cross rail is so tight , you can't even put your fingers between them.
