Anyone use Jesel roller rocker?

Anyone use Jesel roller rocker?
One of my friends has been messing with them for two weeks on a 2000 TA and the valve keep hanging open. They say use stock pushrods but it looks like it would take a rod three to four thousanths shorter for it to work. We even put the stock ones back just to make sure everything was ok and they worked perfect. We are at a loss and pulling our frigging hair out. We sent them back and they were returned saying that they were fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, the stock cam is still in and it has stock heads. If you have used these rockers please chime in with what size pushrods you went with.

Mark the tip of your valve with a felt tip marker, then install the rockers and rotate the engine untill that valve fully opens and closes. Remove the rocker and see where the roller tip wore off the marker. If pushrod length is correct, there will be a mark in the center of the tip. If pushrod is to long, the mark will be closer to the edge of the valve tip towards the exhaust manifold. If it's too short, the mark will be closer to the edge towards the intake manidfold. Hope this helps,

I had to get those mount bars custom by Jessel since my valves are a lil longer. $50, more after you return the others.. The ones they sent were for stock length valves

everybodys motor is probley going to be a litle diffrent milling heads decking blocks gasket thickness ect best way to find proper push rod length is to get a adjustable push rod like from jegs.with the valves closed bolt on rocker with adj pushrod in lifter bore adjust pushrod to zero lash or no endplay in pushrod then take it out and measure the rod length and add .30 thousants for preload on lifter comp says .20 to .40 for preload on lifter and you have to gut the valvecover so rockers will clear <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

It does, thanks, but have you ever used these rockers and if so what length pushrod did you use.
