Default At what valve lift do the stock heads stall at?

Can anyone tell me at what valve lift the stock LS1 heads reach peak flow?

I have read in a couple places that stock heads start to 'slow down' somewhere around .560" lift. Anyone have any real numbers?

Depends on the casting year, they all seem to be a little different.. on a set of 2000 5.7's they seem to have little gain past 540. When I get back to the shop on monday I'll post some graphs from our Flow Data if you guys want to see them

Pre 2000 castings dip at .470" lift in flow, 2000+ castings stop increasing from .450" to .470"
but continue to climb as high as .650" from there.
I believe this to be a difference in valves more so then head castings . Chamber blending cut is cleaner on 2000+ from what i have seen and tested.

I have 1999 Z-28 with stock heads. I am having a custom ground cam made. I want to keep the lift as low as possible for valvetrain life and low noise.
I have pretty much decided on this:
CC 224/220 .532/.532 114 LSA with 110 ICL
I'll be using Titanium Retainers and CC 918 springs.
I am retaining my stock heads, but will add some type of intake manifold in the future...maybe the one from Holley...maybe I'll wait to see what comes along later.
I don't think added lift would really benefit me that much with stock heads...maybe 5rwhp peak. It's just not as important to me as the reliablility and ease of maintenance is. Any thoughts?
