I think I might have made a boo boo. I bought a Cartek 2x cam(228/228 .590/.590 114lsa) this past week and when I went to order some valve springs I think I got the wrong ones for my application. I wanted the Patriot Golds but I ended up with the Patriot Gold Extremes which has more seat pressure. It has an open spring pressure of 410 pounds @ 1.140", with 155 pounds closing pressure @ 1.800". Do you think that they'll be too stiff for my medium sized cam? Thanks

Might be some overkill there but I dont think it would hurt anything performance wise. Not too familiar with those springs though so I am sure someone else will chime in and give better advice.

little much for your set up, but would work. 110-135 is really all you will need.

Manley dual springs and some Ti retainers... That's usually what we set that cam up with.
