Brad, i would not gain anything if i were to get an adjustable timing chain and retard it 4* would it? That way it is on a 110 ICL.... no matter what it still has the 10* in it.
No matter how you degree the cam it will still have 10 degrees of overlap in it, you can not change that. By retarding that cam that much you will destroy any low end power you have and will just gain more up top. All degreeing will do is move the powerband around, nothing more.

That cam on a 114 LSA has only 2 degrees overlap, much easier to deal with although 10 degrees isnt much at all either IMO.

When I drove it to work it was mostly highway, so it was fine. At speeds under 35mph I put it in neutral a lot and coast. I know its lame but usually a stop sign or stop light is coming up anyways. It was still getting 20mpg so I put up with it.

Yeah your cam makes good power for little duration. Whats it like? Any traction in 2nd gear? I was driving my car last night and it was hazing the tires real good in 2nd. 5year old tires slip a lot.
