Default Who has an MS4 in they're street car?

Besides me? I'm not asking for peoples input on weather or not its the best street cam.
Who has one and what do you guys think about it?

Me personally: I love it and this is my DD. Makes decent torque and loads of top end power.

I'm running stock gears currently but plan on going w/ 4:10's asap. Anyones else set up on 4:10's. How do you like it compared to stcok gears? How do they run on the H/W in an M6? Am I going to top out at 120mph in 6th?

I guarantee you, you will not top out at 120. should have enough gear to go at least 180.

4.10 is still too high to keep that cam in its meat. Should go with a 4.30 or more.

not too bad, most my driving is on the h/w but surges at low rpm's thats why i need gears... So how would 4:30's compare to 4:10's? Would it be wiser to go w/ 4:30's?

I am about to install the MS4 and 4.10's in my M6, and was wandering the same thing. I have 3.73's for now in my 12-bolt.

I have an MS4 inm y '98 WS6 M6 with 90/90, LT's, Magnaflow and LID.

I use to have the surging bucking issues at low engine rpm's high gear/load before tuning.

Using my EFI live and with the help of the guy's on the EFI live forum, I have gotten to the point where I can comfortably cruise @ 60 mph going up hill in 6th gear with only 1400-1500 rpms
I can actually toot around the local roads @ 45 mph in 6th gear with no surging or bucking whatsoever.

BTW, I have 3.73 gears in my 10-bolt and in about 3 weeks, I should have my DriveLine Solutions built Dana S60 with 4:10's here Thanks Scott! (Super Cool Guy!)

How do I like my MS4 cam? I love it! Feels pretty much like stock till you get to about 2300 rpms and then hauls *** all the way to redline.

My friend Brian in Savannah GA has one with stock gears and loves it. Put down around 430 after about 39 different tuning sessions with Superchips in Orlando, where he used to work. I would call it a more peaky cam though, not necessarily the best street car cam choice IMO.

I'm with him except I have a 99. I can cruise in mine just fine to. Now I will get some bucking surging in 1st-3rd if I'm kinda on off the gas. Other then that no problems and i am 100% happy with this cam.
