The TSP package is 1,500 with factory LS6 springs and 1764 with PP duals.
If your choice is limited to the 228R/T2 just becuause it comes in a package, then dont buy the package. The patriot heads/whatever cam you REALLY want can be had for either 100 more, or 70-150 less if you buy upgraded valve springs from TSP.

I would consider having Texas Speed do the tune if you buy there cam. I have heard nothing but bad things about mail order tunes. Buy a heads and cam package from Texas Speed and they can do a good tune and I think they even knock off some of the price of the tune if you buy one of their heads and cam package. Just some info.

I agree on the above reference to a larger stall. You really won't be maximizing your combo on a small stall, and unless you go real big, you won't see much of a drivability issue in any kind of traffic. Now if you don't get a big enough stall for your cam; that's when you'll start to see some awkwardness in a daily driver. A 3,200-3,500 is'nt a huge change; but it is the details that make the difference! Good luck!

Another misconception in choosing cams it that most think that the larger duration and lift they can stuff in the motor will make more power. Not the case most of the time. The better your heads flow the less camshaft will be needed to make the same amount of power.
Choosing a cam is give and take situation. There is not perfect cam and they all have ups and downs. You need to choose based off what your requirements are.

I'll get the dyno tune when I can. im thinking about this plan...
Have bryan @pcmforless giuve me the ebst tune he can for now so the car will even run. theres a dyno right by my house but I dont trust them to tune it. so They can do a few dyno pulls and I could send the info to bryan and have him finalize the tune.
sound like a plan?
