Just wondering if this would be a good daily driver cam that could still pull 400+ at the wheels with a good set of S2 MTI LS6 Heads..

What do you think about it?

Yea - "I think" this cam profile would put out some good #s while being a little sneaky with the proper idle rpms...

Maybe a 112 LSA would be better and no advancement? What do you think?

Come on - I know some of you guys here have to have seen a cam like this?

Or why wouldnt you want to shorten the duration (to have a friendly idle) and make up duration time with a higher lift?

What would this cam act like?

What kinda power would/could it make?

Why not increase the duration some? And who is going to grind you hydraulic ramps more aggerssive than the XE-Rs?

And again - that what and why I am asking you guys - what would a cam like this act like? And does anyone have one?

Just curious...

Sounds interesting.

JMO

Actually, my 224/224 XE-R is sort of close to that in some ways. It's on a 113 LSA and ended up with 2.75 degrees advance.

Since a TR-224 on a 114 LSA has passed emissons I don't think you'll gain any emissions edge or power over it. Your cam will probably flow less on the intake side and make less power as a result. Most ported heads will loose flow over before .591

As mentioned before more aggresive than an XE-R with 222 duration and .591 lift as an XE-R with 222 is .581 lift. Cam should be harder on valve train and make valve train noiser than an XE-R does. My valve trains is nice a loud as is

Also I don't think trimming 2 degrees off of the exhaust will really help much over a 222/222

A 224/220 XE-R on a 113 might be a little cleaner than than a TR-224 and make similar power or a tad more if the heads have a good exhaust port and system.

A 222/218 would probablly do what you want to do but again, why give up exhaust duration when exhaust as big as 224 can pass?
