Default All bore resleved block, stock crank, what would the CI be?

382? Resleved aluminum block, stock crank, stock rods and whatever pistons it takes. What would the CI be? What is the most it could be bored?

It depends on what size sleeve you put in.

if you take a sleeve and it's makes the cylinder wall diameter the same as stock, and a stock crank then you're going to have 346CI ... but if you put a sleeve in that increases diamater per cylinder you will have greater CI... if you increase the stroke you will have greater CI

The most common bore size with a resleeved block is 4.100", which nets 382cid with a stock crank (which is what I have). There are some larger bore sleeves out there as well, such as the 4.155 (which seems to be getting more popular), which would net 393cid with a stock crank.

Just to add to what George mentioned, if you were using a 4.125" bore (like the current Darton sleeves, for example) you'd be at 387".

So to summarize:
4.100" bore x 3.62 stroke = 382 cid
4.125" bore x 3.62 stroke = 387 cid
4.155" bore x 3.62 stroke = 393 cid

you can also offset grind the crank to get some more cubes, possibly 3.75 stroke x 4.125 bore = 400.92 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

4.155 bore X 3.75 stroke = ??

Sorry, dont know the formula.
