Cooling problem
Cooling problem So i just installed a D1sc. I havent moved the car yet. But when i start it the temp get to about 210 and the coolent starts bubbling over. My fans arnt correct. But i never had the water bubbling over and steaming at 210. It seems like my temp gauge is not reading the correct. I did replace the tstat for a 160. but i got it used. Im going to install the stock one tomarrow. and correct the fans. Also the car runs lean. I know there is alot of reasons for overheating.. but bubbling at 210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats weird. |

Sound like the T-Stat maybe bad.. try taking it out and put it in a pot of water and turn on the heat and watch to make sure it opens at the correct temp..
Did you make sure you got all of the air out of the system ... fill the engine with coolant from the top radiator hose and then recoonect it before you fill the rest of the radiator.
