I'd agree with Paul on this one. This cam + GTP stage 2 heads is probably good for 440-450rwhp.

If you don't want to spend the money on GTP's, I'd just get plain LS6 heads like I have and use those as a lower cost alternative.

The CNC head has the combustion chamber reworked extensively. The LS6 stock chamber starts at around 67 CC to begin with. Once the chamber work is done they are over 70CC. So they mill .055 to get them back to 60cc...

SAC, the only silver T/A you will be <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> is mine. From a 170mph roll of course. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

If they are LS6 heads to start with they would only need to be milled about .030 to get to 60cc. If they are LS1 5.7 heads then that would make since. If that's the case though I would just go with 5.3 heads with just a clean-up milling and you would be right there and no valve train geometry issues.

They're supposed to be LS6 heads. The GM part # description says they're LS-6 also.
I'm starting to think I should maybe look into a different set of heads though. The reason I was hopped up on getting them is because I figured if Z06cam pulled 423 out of stock heads, these should flow a bit better and not to mention they're $2200 with no core.
