Question Gas mileage?

How bad off gas mileage would i lose with cam? Not a crazy cam but only putting like 360 to the wheels on cam only.

I got over 25MPG on the last tank of gas with 240 highway miles and 90 mixed miles. 232/236 112LSA cam.

When I drive strictly in the city, which here in Savannah consists mostly of sitting at lights for at least 3 minutes at a time, I get about 14 MPG

I get 7 mpg. See sig for setup. My tranny also just went so I could have been slipping without realizing it. Im hoping it goes up with the 4l80-e thats going in.

i've been getting around 10mpg lately and it sux, i've been really tempted to take the cam out. i've been planning on doing an m6 swap in october, those plans might have to get moved up a little if i cant get better mpg.

my specs are...

free mods
mti lid
slp bellows
slp cai
pacesetter lt's and ory
hooker catback
3.73 gears
214/230 .601/.613 112+4
and of course all the supporting valvetrain mods but i still think i should be able to get a little more out of it.

I've never bothered to check the difference between city and highway mileage, but with a 50/50 mix of stop & go and highway driving, I avg. 20mpg overall with cam & mods in sig.

When I added my MS3 I lost a couple mpg around town, at most.

Currently get ~12 mpg around town and 25 mpg highway. That's what a big cam, 4,000 stall speed converter and wicked sounding exhaust will do.
