Default What's my misfire from?

I just got my car started after a horrible cam install. I dropped a lifter and had to pull the driver's side head. When autotapping it, I found misfires in almost all of the cylinders. There's probably about one every 20 seconds. This was all at idle.

Could it be that my fuel injectors are dirty? What could be causing the misfires?

A MULTIPLE CYLNDER MISS IS MORE THAN LIKELY NOT DIRTY INJECTORS (ALL AT THE SAME TIME?) CHECK O2 SENSORS SEE IF THEY ARE SHOWING LEAN OR RICH AND GO FROM THERE, MOST LIKELY IS A VACCUM LEAK INDUCING TOO MUCH AIR INTO SYSTEM, HAS THE COMPUTER BEEN MODIFIED TO MATCH YOUR CAM? IF NOT THE PULSE WITH AT IDLE MAY NOT BE ENOUGH TO SUPPORT THE CAM CHANGE GOOD LUCK!!

The misfires are only happening at idle so it must be a computer thing. Thanks.

If you got a big enough cam that causes a lope at idle that will give you missfire codes.
