That's not to bad. I get about 23 mpg now, so I could live with that for the power you get in return. Not bad compared to the old muscle cars, huh?

No problem!
BTW, if you're thinking about getting this cam you wont be dissapointed. Those quick lift rockers will definately help this cam out. I'd love to get a set and see if it would put me at the 400hp mark.

The ASA cam with 1.8 rockers would make a bit more power over a tr224 114 LSA cam!! Prob 20 more easy

cool i found the cam at sdpc2000.com. Oh and thats awesome about the potential with 1.8's i think this is the cam for me. I love how its lighter on the valvetrain. How high would you guys spin this cam to on your setups?

A good shift point is 6400-6600 with this cam. I shift at 6400 with my weak bitch 4l60e and 98 rod bolts, but a later year m6 car could shift at 6600-6700.

After reading this thread, Im rethinking my cam purchase now. I was going to purchase the Patriot 226, but I may end up purchasing the ASA cam. I wouldnt take it to the track that much, maybe 3-4 times a year, since its a DD. Im just wondering what kind of numbers I would put down after installing it. Any input would help. Im thinking around 390-400 to the wheels.

On the car: Mac mid tubes w/Y, K&N FIPK, ASP pulley, ported TB, SLP catback, free mods, NGK, MSD 8.5

Soon to install when I get cam: LS6 intake, electric cut out, LS6 heads w/comp 918 springs, Comp 7.4 pushrods and 3200-3400 stall.

You should put down about 400rwhp if you put the LS6 heads on, maybe more. I put down 400rwhp 385rwtq with stock LS6 heads. If you get a good tune on it you should do about the same or more!!
