Does the HOTCAM have any lope to it? I know that the lsa is 112 so I'm wondering if its more noticeable sounding than a stock cam. I hate the sound of the stock cam, ugh.

Good luck on your build. I'm planning on swapping my hotcam for the ASA cam this friday. Since i dont have to replace the springs im hoping to have it 85% torn down on friday and finish everything by saturday evening. Hopefully just in time see Mayweather get KNOCKED OUT.

You should be fine with stock valves. Bigger valves causes more of a problem than milling a couple cc's out of the chamber.

This should be real interesting, I'm hoping you will see a nice increase. You can let us know if its worth even upgrading from the hotcam to the ASA.

Are you running the stock tune on that hotcam?
Any track times so you can compare them to the ASA?

Anybody tried tuning an ASA cam with a handheld tuner. Just put the cam in. It won't idle at all. Plan on getting it tuned, but was wanting to see if I could get it to somewhat idle. Also read that some of you had to do a SD tune. What is a SD tune? Thnx

SD = Speed Density.. meaning you remove the MAF ... MAF = Mass Air Flow sensor.

and now its not manditory..

IS it because the idle is to low?-you could turn that idle screw up a little bit to open up the plate to let more air in.
IS your car an automatic or standard trans?

I was thinking about this cam, but don't want to get it tuned for a few weeks after the install, but it sounds manditory right off the bat if it won't idle.
