Default TR230/224 + bolt-ons = 422rwhp!!!

I was bored today, so I thought I would play with photoshop and "make a graph" that reads like this, you know how that goes..... *note extreme sarcasm*

the car put down 367 rwhp with bolt-ons minus a pulley.

<img src="http://home.attbi.com/~nickn20/422rwhp.jpg" alt=" - " />

the first pull was unexpected, but pleasant in a way at 391 rwhp, so i added some timing to the mix and the car picked up a quick 11 hp to a 402 rwhp, so after that pull i checked my autotap logs to see some airflow rates and i noticed the TPS percentage never went over 77 percent, thats right folks! 402 rwhp at 3/4 throttle! on a side note we ran the car like this at the track at 392 rwhp and 3/4 throttle and still managed a 12.86@114.5 (very nice for the power and conditon) with a 2.2 60! turns out the clip that holds slack adjustment on the cable was MIA, so I just said F it and held the TB open myself during the pull!(yea I know I have a few screws loose) I wasnt going home without some numbers! so on the 3rd pull I held it open and the car spanked out 418 rwhp! holy cow was I happy, I added a few more degrees timing to get it up around 422 rwhp and I kept it at that with a "safe tune" a/f was decent I left it a tad rich for the street. and cleaned up the low end a bit before peak TQ, the car drives great I cant wait to get back to the track to see some MPH! 117-118 mph here we come!

yup stock heads, timing was around 28 degrees or so, didnt want to push it much farther on pump gas and we were running out of time, so we had to call it a day.

mystic, 13.1x @109.x was the best we could muster with a 2.2 60 ft, that was before a pulley, you see the newer numbers above, can't wait to get this car to the track running right finally!

this car has a RAM 6130/402 setup, with a stock master, drill mod.

Excellent #'s. I am glad to see it's elsewhere than one of the bigger vendors shops, so nobody can use the "vendor dyno trick" excuses <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> ...

Congrats!

no dyno tricks here! full exhaust, through a magnaflow muffler!

367 rwhp was without a pulley so maybe mid to higher 370 with it? there are a few people that have hit these numbers with the same mods..... runing is a major player in this combination.

I hit 363rwhp with bolt ons and pullies, however, I also had a 33 spline 12 bolt, 3.73 gears, and heavier aftermarket rims.

His numbers don't surprise me.

TR230 cam of course <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
FLP longtubes, 3 inch y-pipe
magnaflow catback pretty much.
ASP pulley, katech belt tensioner.

it has a ram clutch, but i dont think its relavent to the dyno numbers, if anything its heavier than stock....

I think thats it for go fast mods....

Great results! You have a little bit of a dip in power past the peak around 6700 rpms, see if you can get rid of that when you turn it again. Why were you only seeing %77 TPS?
