Scorpion roller rockers?

nearly 5 years and counting on a set of 1.8s with no adjustments or problems. Rocker covers have not been off. This is on a 4.8 truck that was recently driven to Cal. from New Orleans. Runs great, but a lot of other mods were done to the top end and it has long tubes and a reflash by TSP so maybe all that other stuff explains why the truck runs so good. All I know is the Scoprions I installed have held up well. I like the "C" channel system they use. It turns their rockers into a poor mans shaft mount system. The "C" channel forces the rockers to stay in alignment the way a shaft would do.

Yes. That was fixed a while back. They have been stuck with a bad stigma since then though. Most of the manuf of alum rocker arms have had one problem or another with bad batches/extrusions/material. The one on scorpion seemed to last a while.
I really like them. They are offering them in different colors as well. Red, Silver, Blue (most popular) and IIRC Black and maybe Purple. We carry the blue 1.7s on hand but I have drop shipped a few of the 1.8s to customers looking to get a little more out of their setup in the past few weeks.

found those clear covers on ebay. i emailed him to find out if he makes them for lsx so we'll see. you'd have to relocate the coil packs to get the full benefit though, but i guess that goes without saying.

The different color powder coat fishish is nice, but once the rocker covers are mounted it doesn't matter what color they are unless you have see through rocker covers and relocate your coils. I wouldn't buy Scorpion for the color. I would buy Scorpion for the price, quality, design and easy of installation. The "C" channel is unique way of mounting two adjacent rockers compared to shaft mount which cost much more when you go to the quality brands. I can think of one brand (most people on this site know which one it is) that is a dual rocker shaft mount type, but the shaft diameter is quite a bit smaller than other fully rollerized rockers. Some people have had trouble with them in the past. A few people also had problems with Scorpion, but that was corrected. Scoprion is a Florida based company and when something like that happens they can correct quickly unlike a foreign based or foreign manufactured product. I think you will have good results with Scorpion and save some money too. It's a well built rocker and the trunion is very heafty which is important.
