Is it possible to add preload with these via removing a shim? (if installed with one) I REALLY want to drop some of the ticking in my engine. Even if it means the loss of a couple HP.

Setup:
TSP 228r .588 lift on a 1.7
PRC stage II 5.3L heads
7.4" push rods
stock rockers and lifters.

Actually, the last person I know who had issues with the other rockers you are speaking of was dropped shipped a set from the factory that arrived in two days. The "other" company has been very good at replacing the parts quickly and in complete sets.

Idk about the scorpions, but HS makes direct bolt in 1.8 rockers for like $422. Im pulling the trigger on them

I've had the hs 1.8 for about 5 years, no problems at all. About a thousand passes or more.

I have had the scorpions on for awhile, very good customer service. Solid product, had them on my .601 lift cam on a turbo car definitely recommend them.
