All the bearing looked great, but the half of the rod did a number on the block and scavenge trey. The rest of the pistons and rods looked perfect. I still can't figure out why it gave out????

DROOL Oliver Pro Billets <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I wish I could get a set of those. I am on a budget( my new baby boy mod just came <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ) So I have to save where I can. I can't find a set of unported untouched 6.0l heads anywhere. Valvegod is all out, these things are likes hens teeth <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />
I also want to show my buddies I can build an LS1 FI 346 that will put out numbers in the 600rwhp range for way less than they spent on their 396 strokers.
New Block 600
6.0 Heads( if found) 550 range
Forged Rods 470 for the ones I listed above
Diamond Pistons 550
Rings 179.00
bearings @100-120 for a set
Stock crank Free
ARP head Studs 270
So about 2800 for a 600+rwhp motor isn't bad in my book.

Oliver rods are one of the best quality pieces you can buy. I have no problem running stock rods to 6800rpm (2001) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
