Default pick a winner

Ive done a ton of research on here, now it's time for yall to chime in.

I am not inot a custom cam I want something off the shelf and proven, and not too small but not a donkey dick cam

I forgot to add in the tv3

This will be for a cam only weekend and street warrior SS that MIGHT be getting a 100 shot.

well the ms4 and g5x4 are both big cams and both proven. all of those cams will be fine for nitrous even up to 150 they will have no problem. i would go with the ms4 on a 110lsa. that thing will pull so god damn hard and will sound so f-ing mean too. ms4 is my vote but what else is done to the car?

I would also go with the MS4, I have it on a 110lsa and it does pull like a SOB, I love it. I promise you will be happy with it.

the MS4 pulls hard from 3000rpm's if you want down low then get the G5X2 or G5X3, they should pull around 2500rpms

The G5X4 and MS3, MS4, and T-Rex are all Donkey Dick cams. While they work well in race-oriented applications, they're a little hard-core if you intend to put lots of city miles on your car. If it's a toy, then go for it. If you want more low and mid-range without sacrificing too much drivability, then look at a TR 230/236 on a 112LSA, an FMS F-13 on a 112, A TSP Torquer V2 on a 111, or a G5X2 on a 112LSA. They're all in the ballpark as far as power and street manners go.

This is just going to be patrick a toy for summer time when when I come home from school. I will making a 3hr drive every month or so back to the house and then back to App. and arounf Boone some. I;m thinking about going with the SI5 for now and see how I like it. It'll make lil over 400 and I havent herd a bad thing about it. I have full bolt ons - pulley, maf, and ported tb which are all on the way

I'm between a MS4 and SI5. I'll prob go with the SI5

I also want something fun for the roads of in the mountians. I will prob throw in a big cam with a 12 bolt next summer and hto the drag strip more

Whats the best off the shelf cam for cam only application?

I voted ms4. Just got mine all done and tuned last week and absolutely love this cam. It drives fine on the street (with a good tune) and pulls like crazy above 4000. Now just need a clutch to really harness that power!

" MS4.. MS4.. texas giant.. MS4.. TR2994945.... comp cam "special grind" 320/320 .750 lift on 102 LSA.. will have good street manners??"

just because there are big cams, doesnt mean you need it..

i know with all these cams out there, its tough to make a choice. i pm predator z, and patrick so many times..lol. they have always been helpful. it just comes down to what u want and what u want to do with the cam. i seen some good numbers with the si5 cam with some patriot performance ls6 heads. im leaning towards the tr 230/236 cam. my car is a daily driver street car. i want something with sick low-midrange with nice high end. with those cams, your talking maybe 5 hp difference from the si5, tr230 cams.
