Default Where to set the gap with Diamond rings @

How much clearance/gap should I allow on these Diamond Rings in a 3.905 bore?

.016 & .020
.018 & .022
.020 & .024
I am running a 100 shot of nitrous and plan on going to a 150 shot in the next few months.

In an above post, Fireball set his at .018/.022 with his h/c motor.

Jason99T/A said he was going to set his at .022/.026 because he's adding a TNT kit on his solid roller 346.

I'm just quoting them, might want to call Diamond.

Always err on the loose side with the rings, especially with nitrous. There is very little to gain with the slightly tighter end gap, but a whole lot to loose if set up too tight.

.020"/.024 would be fine.

I emailed Chris at Diamond and he told me to use .016 for the top and .018 for the second. He said that its good for N/A and light nitrous use. Give Diamond a call. Its their stuff, they should know.
