i was wondering this as well, as i daily drive my car and dont want to give up any drive ability or at least not too much but i want to make good power too, so im trying to find the common ground. im far from getting anything yet, im still working on bolt ons but i like to know a lot about the subject before i pull the trigger on stuff...

let me put this simple: torquer 2 > 224 cam. the torquer 2 is a great all around cam, works for daily driving. ive done it for 2 years. some new rear end gears will help a ton with the low end.

I agree - The guys putting up big numbers with a 224/228 almost always fork out the big bucks for the nicer heads, and fast 90/90 etc... Anytime you see those same big dollar heads and intake setups on the TV2 the numbers also reflect the extra $ spent and are still > 224/228.

I daily drive my TV2 and don't have any problem with it. The tune makes it perfectly drivable. I went for a 114 LSA too. I also have the 4.10 gears, there's no shortage of Low End... hehe (And no shortage of top end either cause the RPM bump to 6600 keeps 172mph redline in 5th)

If your low end sucks you need to either get better gears or get a bigger stall. Who cares what power it makes below 2500 rpms you should never be in that range anyway. Unless your races last all of two seconds the car with the better top end is going to walk on bye and then you will wish you went with tv2!

Torquer is a piece of **** cam. He has a better cam now. He will put down <350rwtq with the torquer. Might pick up 5rwhp up top, but loose 20rwtq.

And WTF with the old *** thread.

My car did 385rwhp/370rwtq cam only. With heads I'm 430rwhp & 403 rwtq.

I made 370rwtq on a mustang w/ 4.10s and low end heads... not sure what the complaint is there... 350tq at 3000rpm aint bad either... lol
