Make sure you install the valley cover bolts that come with the FAST, if you bought used make sure you have them.

If this is for a Vette, make sure you have clearance for the MAP.

Make sure you use the FAST gaskets/o-rings for the intake to cylinder head, don't use OEM.

Don't force are wrestle any of the vacuum lines on the FAST, you will break the fittings on the intake.

Be sure to vacuum/blow dirt from stock intake prior to removal.

Look into heads and clean any sand that might fall into the port prior to installing new intake.

Don't over tighten the throttle body.

Try to miss the Oil pressure sending unit when you're pulling the old manifold off. The brake booster is wrapped around it and WILL snap off if you dont make an effort to miss it when you pull the manifold off.

Yes, they are button head. I painted mine to keep them from rusting.

Also, your stock intake bolts will work on the intake itself. I didn't use the FAST supplied bolts as they rust quickly and look like crap.

Read the instructions several times, as stated above the port for the brake booster has to be manipulated during installation and you have to be careful so you don't break it.

Glad you got the Intake/TB. You are going to like it once it's installed.
