Default Got a idle issue...

when i come to stop lights and the car stops the idle and oil pressure drop down pretty low id say 200-300 rpms....my car idles normally at 500rpms....

there are no air leaks or exhaust leaks....voltage is good

oil psi hot at idle is around 33 and close to 60 on the highway....

however at a stop the oil needle ticks slightly, ive had spunning bearings before but i had alot less oil pressure to....

i think the rpm level bothers me a little more, could this be in the tune? if so what parts of the tune would this be under?

Well for starters there is the desired idle speed which is programmed into the computer. It's as simple as punching in the three digits. But there are also the idle air counts and the a/c desired idle speed. ( don't quote me on any of the names). Getting those all to work together is challenging, especially after a cam. Have you recently done a lot of mods without getting it tuned?

Until you get it tuned you should crack the throttle body blade a little using the adjustment screw to bring the idle up (don't drill the blade). 500 rpms is too low in my opinion, should be above 750rpms.

Could be the TPS sensor.

Put a new one on and if it doesn't fix it, return it and say you didn't need it.

youre idle airflow is not dialed in. Most likely the RAF table needs tweaking and theres a big idle air trim factor thats screwing things up.
