f13 core color?

I dont know about core color. I would give them a call, tell them your situation and see what they say. They might ask for a serial # if it has one on it. Or just tell you to send it to them and they will send you a new one.

Yeah I did talk to them just making sure what color every one else's core was just to be extra safe haha. Supposedly if it was on a silver core that is what the bad cames used I heard. I sent them this picture a few months ago and said I was good but just wanted to make sure what everyone else's core color was. I already toasted one engine just being safe I guess you can say.

I had a bad one that was all one color, and was gun drilled. The replacement futral sent had the copper coloring, and was not gun drilled.
IMO, the metalurgy was not the problem. The textured finish was the issue, atleast in my case. The peaks and ridges would cut right through the oil film.

The lobes on this cam are sort of rough, it almost looks like little surface rust or something like that. My car is currently at a sponsor awaiting a new engine to be put in. Here is a picture of the lobes by the way its brand new. Wondering If I should just buy a new cam or what, and just send this one back to futral.

Yes that is one of the new cores, no problem with those cores!!
