Default 383 head/cam question

I have a cam that I will be putting in my 01 Z06 it is a custom grind 235/242 647/622 on a 111 icl. Would this cam work ok if I decide to go ahead and put in a stroker kit when I do my head/FAST 90 swap? Also, what heads would work well with this cam, I haven't seen many specs that list anything over .600 lift.

Thanks
Ricky

It seems large enough, but you would have to check your dynamic compression to make sure it's going to run ok on pump gas.

I just checked that this morning. It is up there with the 59cc heads I was wanting to put on my 346. I could use 64cc heads on the 383 and it looks like I get 12.1 SCR and 8.975 DCR

I guess it works better with the 346 11.79 SCR and 8.68 DCR

Is 8.9 too much to run on 93 octane. I have a Shell station nearby that sells 110 I can always mix a little in if I need to.
