Nevermind the pistons, get the LS6 H/C, intake and its an LS6. The LS6 block is also negligible over over an LS1 block. Unless you just want to make it an exact duplicate, in which case have at it.

What is the year and make of your car?

Ya, for these years the LS6 intake was standard equipment. The block, well some of them got it, but its nothing to write home about. H/C is all you need.

Used LS6 heads usually go for about $500 all the time, sometimes the cam will go with them for about $100 more. The cams dont pop up for sale as often as the heads, but to get it new is only about $220. Plus all necessary gaskets.

If your looking to 'truely' have an LS6 setup, you'll also need to the LS6 Valley Cover. Since you already have an LS6 block, you wouldnt need to cut the block, simply bolt it on, and re-route the PCV hose.

Well there is a guy on Tech with just an LS6 swap and if I remember right he makes 410 at the wheels. Plenty of passing power in silent form. But he has all the bolt ons and a tune to top it off. Tune is a must though.
