Oil Pressure head scratcher! hey guys well ive installed a STS remote mount turbo system on my '98 Z28...ive had no problems with it except for the fact that now that sumemr is here and the car runs ALOT hotter.....when the car is cold between 160 and 200 the oil pressure is good...idle around 40 and up to 60-70 when accelerating. but when it gets to or a little above that 200 mark it ildes around 20 and only goes up to 40 when i accelerate and when im railin' on it. whats the problem?

Mine's doing the same thing, It actually goes right under 40 while getting on the gas and when i let off it goes a little above 40. Has about the same amount of miles as your's too. I was told might be the oil sending unit going bad in the post i started.

76k miles is not high mileage for an LS1, theres plenty of guys on here with more than twice that.

Do not put oil additives in the engine. You only have a few good choices - lower the thermostat to a 180 or 160 and set your fans to to come on at 190, check your actual oil temperature and possibly install a cooler, or increase your oil viscosity, 5w 40 or 10w 40 for hot weather. Use synthetic if you can.
