Extra Quart of oil OK?

Extra Quart of oil OK? Last time I changed my oil I don't think all the oil drained out... (even though I let it drain for an hour!)
Anyway, my the oil level on the dipstick is a little over a half inch above the full mark.
Does this really matter?
My car consumes a fair amount of oil anyways after my header install....

Re: Extra Quart of oil OK? I drove my car to work and back today (about 35 miles). Checked it when I got home, and no bubbles...
I just don't know if it is worth wasting the oil if it is a non-issue anyway... Mobile one ain't cheap!

Re: Extra Quart of oil OK? I like to run .5 qt extra (6 qts total), I never run exactly 5.5 quarts. Our pcv systems are too inefficient and you can use a .5 quarts a few hours drag racing.
