im getting a set of PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads. and i was wondering which on of these cams would be more worthwhile to put in, the 228R or the TV2 both on a 112 LSA? or is there some custom grind that would put out comprable numbers and be more streetable?

228r is the best choise for perfect street use it smoke like hell go for it no regret . but if u are planing drag racing track that would be another brain storm.

FYI, TSP recommended I go with 5.3s 2.5 stage with my T2.

i really like the looks of the 228R but i don't want to be dissapointed. thasts why i am also looking at the TV2.

I have the T2 with my 5.3's and love it......Once the tune was right anyway...lol

predator whats you reasoning for picking the 228? just out of curiosity.

Because it has a better DCR, within 10 rwhp if optimized, better midrange.
Also you don't have gears, clutch etc..

So the 228 is a better choice.

BTW I ran that TV2 and its "Torquer" is a misnomer unless it is optimized for compression and supporting mods.

what if i were to get 4.10's. would it still be good to run the 228R?
