370ci - change heads &cam?

370ci - change heads &cam? I've been considering a rebuild just for the heck of it. I can get a good6.0L truck crank and block and do the rebuild myself. But my question is about h/c. Is my g5x3 too small? And with my heads I wasthinking about just hand smoothing the ports, but they're milled .030". Would that increase my compression too much? What can I do about that?

Using this calculator and my 59cc heads and a .042" Cometic, I'm finding a SCR of 12.5. Not good.

So how would my cam/heads/intake turn out on a 383? 408? I figure they'd be too crappy for a 408... it'd have a dyno graph like a Duramax probably. Just curious, as I think I've come across a good deal on a stroker crank to use for my buildup.
