No problem Joe. Justin wanted a cam that would work well with his new NX kit. He plans to spray quite a bit, so we went to something a little more nitrous oriented.

I agree with Cannibal about the MORE tool. That thing is a piece of ****. I did one valve seal swap and the thing is all bent and cracking. Plus it takes way too much leverage to try and hold the springs down while putting the valve locks back on. I would much rather have the one in the link about. If anyone wants a MORE tool, I'll let it go cheap.

I don't know if you guys got a bad batch of MORE valvesprings tools, but mine has worked flawlessly in the many times I have used it. I used it to swap springs on close to 15 cars over the past few months, including a set of dual 987s and 230lb solid roller springs and it is still is good shape. The key to getting leverage is using a large breaker bar instead of the small 3/8" ratchet like some of the pics I have seen.

Wow, thats strange looking.
I'd love to feature one in a cam-only install writeup on my site![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
I could do an install with the MORE valve spring compressor and the JPR lifter holder and I bet y'all would sell quite a few

My More tool worked great. Just use a long ratchet with a small head. I was using a big headed ratchet and noticed I was actually compressing 2 springs at once. After I figured that out the 918's were really easy to do.

Yup, I found the NAPA tool last year. At 15 bucks it's a pretty awesome find. Works even better on those bitchin double springs that just don't like to compress. And the best part, you don't have to rush because your arms are falling off trying to hold the valve shut while flipping around the keepers with the other hand. Whatever works though, that's all that matters! Funny how our writeups and experiences make it across the web. I never saw that CV Forum post before.
The JPR tool looks really cool!! A helluva lot better than magnets.
