Default New Motor

Over this winter I may start a new motor and this is my overall plan for my car. I want to have a 383(maybe larger) aluminum motor that is set up for ALL low end grunt. I mean I want like...400rwhp before 3k rpm, and at around....3500 rpm I want to start spraying a 300 shot. Also, I want a dry sump =]

What kind of block would be best for this? LS1? LS2? LS6? LQ blocks?
Do I need a forged crank/rods?

I think that your goal of 400 HP before 3000 rpm is a little unrealistic..geeeze 400 at 3000 is not happening either ...
