BTW I would have searched for this topic as I'm sure there are a thousand threads on it, but for some reason the search feature hasn't been narrowing the forums searched at all, so all the searchs I get search through every forum and get a ton of useless threads.

I'm planning on ordering the stage 2.5 heads with 61cc chambers and have been told it would bring my compression on a stock 346ci motor to 11.1:1 and I wouldn't have any PTV issues. If anyone can confirm this, I'd be happy to hear from you.

61cc, you'll have to tight a PTV with a TV2 (Unless the sink the valves which they do in some cases)

The heads come standard with a 62cc chamber. They will clear the Toquer v.2 camshaft with zero pistons to valve issues! We have installed this setup on several occasions with great results! The cam consistently picks up 55 RWHP and matched a good flowing cylinder head like the PRC's, plus the added compression will make for a very strong setup! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns and I will be happy to get you fixed up!

Thanks!

Hey Jon, can you confirm what compression I'll be at with the 62cc chamber, 5.7L MLS gasket, and Tv2 on 112lsa? I'm pretty much ready to order I just need to be completely sure I won't have any PTV issues. And I won't hold you to it, but any idea about what it will dyno at? It's an m6 with 4.10s, UD pulley, and long tubes. If I could break 430 I'd be thrilled.

You can't go wrong with Texas speed these guys are great to work with and will take the time to answer all your questions and get you hook-up right for and unbeatable price as far as I'm concerned (and I took the time and shopped around), I have above package but haven't had the time to install it just yet (soon very soon) I'll be post all my numbers after tuning on the 26th July.

They are standard 62cc, sometimes 62.5 and mine were 63cc, I wonder if those are ever measured?

One question that is never answered is how much PTVC one will have? Answer is always, Yeah, it will fit.
Also the LSA and advance is never asked. Although it makes a slight difference.

From my own experience with that cam and those heads, get the TV2 on either 112+4 or 112+2 for best results.
If they weren't milled 111+2 would be even better.

The variation in advertised chamber volume to what people actually recieve is a little odd... I'm no engine master, but knowing the PTV tolerences would help ease my mind.

I already have the Tv2 on a 112 +0 and I'm not in a position (time or money) to really pick out and wait for a custom cam. Right now I'd like to get my vette back up and running in time to enjoy it for summer.

Mark, you helped me out a great deal in the past picking out the perfect combo but I then changed directions with the camaro and decided to go forced induction (big PITA). I appreciate your willingness to help and any advice you can give me I'd gladly welcome.

thanks, mark!

It should yeah, try to use organic pot clay. Playdough is elastic and screws up readings.
