Whistling noise in valvetrane?? or bottom end??? Please help!

Whistling noise in valvetrane?? or bottom end??? Please help! I thought it was my belt, took it off and still made a distinct whistling noise... sounded like it was coming from the ds valve cover, took it off and became 5x louder... anyone know what is causing this? I'm stumped,

I took off the valve covers and started the car, it looks like at idle the rocker arms aren't squirting oil until about 1500 rpm, could that be it?

Could be your air pump whistling mine makes a whistle at idle and as soon as I hit the gas it stops. Does the whistling stop after awhile or is it constant. Mine only does this some of the time.
