Default 383 ls1 HP?

I know a million posts like this get put up everyday. But I just am looking for a good guesstimate.
Im building a 383 ls1, eagle 4.00" crank, eagle 6.125 rods, diamond forged pistons probably stock compression MAYBE a little more, big dart cyl heads ported and polished, ls6 intake, 85mm tb, trex cam.
How much HP can I make on motor?
Is there any room to get more compression with the t-rex cam?
What would you guys change if anything?

I also will be getting some racetronix injectors, and a fuel pump to match this combo from Thunder.

I'd like to hit like 500-525 rwhp.Possible?

Thanks

I think you're gonna need a ported 90mm FAST/NW setup to get the most out of your set-up. I'd say around 460-475rwhp with the other stuff you listed in a 6-speed. I don't know, just guessing.

Is this motor going in a street car or a drag car? If it's going into a drag car with a huge stall and gears then you could use a Victor Junior intake instead of a ported fast as Hemi Killer suggested. The Fast will definate work better down low and be about equal up top. However the Victor is half the price and works very well for that specific application (high rpm 1/4 mile car). As far as the piston goes, I'd opt for a flat top with valve reliefs test fit the heads and measure for PTV clearence and mill the heads as much as possible. Detonation should not be a big problem for reasonable static compression because the T-Rex has so much overlap that it doesn't build as much Dynamic Compression as a baby cam would.

Have fun with your build

I thought it was going in a street car when he said about stock compression...

Tony Mamo has a 530 rwhp 383. I have no idea what mine makes, I'll let you know in a few days once I get it tuned.

its a race/street car. Mostly just cruises to car shows.
4500 converter 4.30 gears, full suspension all BMR, th400 with a brake.

I want the car to go mid 10's on HP.

Look at getting a custom cam. I know the Trex is geared more to a stock headed car.
