Cam- that certainly is a monster you've got there... I really appreciate you lettin' me take her for a spin. 450 after a little learn time with some fresh fuel 'er oughtta be pretty attainable!!

On a side note, mine was put on the dyno today... with a really generic tune, a super-low (~5800 RPM) rev limiter, and old pump gas, she pulled 430/400 through a set of dumps. Needless to say, I am absolutely THRILLED with it, though I haven't really gotten into it 'cause of the temporary tune. The exhaust will (hopefully) be built by this weekend so Godspeed can tune 'er up all proper-like...

Also, we'll need to check the valve lash to see where it ended up after the Schubecks filled up with oil.

To the entire LGM crew, I extend a big THANK YOU!!!

Not trying to hijack your thread, Cam... I'm just so damn happy, I had to tell someone!!!

LOL....congrats, BurnOut. I know you have been anxious to get that car running. I must have just missed you at the shop yesterday.

Country Boy - Yes, it is indeed true that Lou G. and Jay from Absolute Speed are teamed together on the 5.3L heads and G5X-2 combo. I happen to be the first car with that setup.

Albert,

Either Louis or Jeremy can get them for you this weekend. They will both be here, and one of them can get a disc for you.

Thanks

Hey Lou,

Since I live here in Hawaii and not able to bring my car to you, would I be able to buy this h/c package from you? I am really impressed with the numbers.

Thanks,

Dan

Dan,

Yes, we can send the whole package to you. We will even do a "Mail order tune", to get you close, if you don't have LS1 edit close by.

Give me a call, or email me.

Thanks

OMG that dyno is just sick. I bet if you run it to 7k or higher it would have hit 450rwhp. Shift at thing at 7200 and she will fly!!!!!!

with the 5.3 heads will it require fly cutting the pistons or is the piston to valve clearence not an issue with the truck heads? Just wondering looking at this for a possible set up in my A4 with yank SS3600.
