Good cam on a 112+2 with those heads and your M6 (4.10:1).

not tryin to hijack but how high should you spin the motor with this head/cam setup? would shifting at 6400 be good enough?

whatever is comfortable with you man. if your setup makes power to 6400+ and your ok spinning it that high, then go ahead. there are a lot of ppl that do it. I dont see anything wrong with spinning to 6400rpm its spinning to 7k+ on a stock bottom end you have to worry about.

I have afriend with that cam with 113lsa in an A4 with PRCls6 heads and put down 400rwhp and tourque was 360 -370(cant remember),with an Ls6intake and a vig3200stall. Now I have the5.3 stage 2.5 heads with a Tr224/112cam with a ported fast 90/90 and a TCI3500 stall and put down 417rwhp and 407rwt. How much more would it benefit me to go with this cam. I know that I made more hp than my friend cuz of the ported fast, but would it benefit me as well to go with this cam, like the poster of this thread is going to do in a 6speed,if so how much?

To:whitesmoke
Sorry to highjack, butsince my friend has that cam.I thought he would put more rwhp than me so i thought it would be an intersting comparison

Hopefully, someone with a 6speed with that set up will chime in to give you a better idea of what you'll put down. My friend and I are both A4,so that does not help as much as you'd like and he has that cam,but not the heads.I've got the heads your looking at,but not the cam.Go figure(LOL)!! Again sorry for the hijack

I have that setup and put down 410 rwhp and 365 tq. I feel like it should be more but I am having some other issues. Trying to figure out a rough idle and shuddering at 2100 rpm. Aside from that, I really like the setup, drivability is good. The power is really felt at 3000 rpm and above.

If you want to find out results power wise, go sniff in the dyno section.

The 112+2 will have an earlier powerband, more overlap, more power in the band and a higher DCR.

the reason it is a +2 and not a +4 is your M6, likes to rev a bit higher.
