Default Cam or Torque Conv. what if i go cam 1st

I have a 2002 Camaro SS
I have Long-tube headers/pulley/timing/all cold air intake/suspension and was going to go with a cam before a torque converter. I dont go to the track very often and didnt know if I went with the cam first if it would be ok can you advise me on pro's and con's

Cam is 224/220 581 lift 113

the TC alone will gain u more in the 1/4 than the cam alone, but if ur going for a "sound" then the cam is what u want... y such an odd 'numbered' cam? is ur car an a4 or m6? if m6, just get a hotcam if sound is what u want, very cost effective... if ur car is an a4, u'll need programming...

Yea, I would go with the converter, the car will be faster w/the converter alone...

When you add the cam w/the converter, then it will be a big gain...

With that cam, your car will be a dog in the low-to-mid range area(it'll take your stock converter forever to reach the higher powerband).

Definitely go with the stall first and then the cam later on to compliment it accordingly.
