Well I'm sure the Alligators and the Iguanas of the Florida Everglades found it comfortable today but us humans tend to wilt in this kind of heat. Worse yet our machines don't do very well either battling the stifling air pressure and the humidity of this nasty climate. Yeah, it was Hot..I think it was record or something for the day..99 DEGREES and the humidity was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife....Jeeeeesus..gimme a break..of all days to do a Dyno tune. Just miserable !
Poor Mike Norris ..the sweat stains on his t-shirt was all the evidence you needed . Tim and Rich of C&S Performance who ran the LS1 Edit too.. Thanks for sticking it out and working on my car after 7 hours and 16 other cars in that heat...ANYWAY...
Here's the video..It's short and only one pull here of the three we did but it was well worth the wait!...even in the heat :smash:

I won't go into the detail of the dyno at this time but I was pleased with the results considering I was after torque and lot's of it. It's suffice to say that BOTH RWHP and RWT were OVER 400..BUT...The true test of the #'s is in the E.T. and mph at the track. Those are the only #'s I'm really interested in....and...I will be going this Wednesday to Moroso Motorsports Park with a few local Corvette Club members.I'll post the results and a video at that time.
FWIW.. my "unlocked "#'s were 414RWHP/490RWT two weeks ago just after the fresh install..I suspect they will just get better as I break it in..and get a few runs in.

bdawg....The heads are by Wade..BUT..He used the 2.02/1.575 valves and Manley double springs. Then Mike Norris sent the heads out to CNC for a cleaning and milled .30 for a CR of 11.2..Good Luck

how much did you spend on the heads with agostino ? did you flow test the heads ?

The block was honed .005 The heads were originally $1100.00 and then I upgraded the valves and springs...another $1000.00 The heads were flow tested by Wade. The results were 225 cfm intake / 300 exhaust..
Here's a couple of videos from the last time at the track just a few days ago..I did alot of slippin' and slidin with the Nitto's
