Who makes 500rwp on stock bottom??
If your going to use the spray moderately at the drags and for some occassionl street hot rodding you should be fine as far as the stock bottom end holidng up. If your going to be spraying thru a bottle every couple of days and beating the living crap out of the engine all thet time then i would think you will crap out sooner or later. If you want great piece of mind throw on some arp rod bolts and your set (assuming the N20 doesn't grenade another part of your engine).

I run a TNT wet kit and in-line fuel pump on top of a heads/cam setup and my only advice would be to be cautious on the spray - make sure you've got plenty of fuel and just assume that if you spray all the time - that you're going to break something eventually!

Nitrous on a stock motor will let go, its only a matter of time <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />

Then we added a small 50hp wet shot. That was Ok too for about 5 more passes in the mid 10 second range. Then the 50 shot gave way to a 200 wet shot. Needless to say, all was not well. Some melted pistons, and two 3X3 holes in the block. I figured that would happen though. Car had to be making over 650rwhp on the 200 shot; that's too much for a stock bottom end that's already seen some abuse.
The motor was just fine with 510rwhp on H/C + boost though, not so much as a hiccup. It was on an '02 motor. The N2O abuse on top of everything else is what ended up killing it...
Boost was acheived with an intercooled ATI P1SC head using a 15psi pulley making 7/8psi with 2.08 intake valves and no cats/ported stock exhuast manifolds.
