my cars got about 26k miles on it about 3 or 4 k ago i started noticing ticking at startup. I finally pulled the valve covers and rockers and looked for bent pushrods. I noticed some of the rockers felt a little too loose when i pulled em but no bent pushrods and the valves looked ok too. Anyway, I torgued down all the rockers, put everything back together and low and behold no ticking. Now I don't know if mine was a special case or it's all in my head but the noise is gone and I'm just tryin to help out a little.
