Is this a custom designed cam ("predator-x")? Who sells it? I'm thinking about running a 236/242 .605" .609" 110 LSA (possibly 112 LSA), but would settle for something that will offer a more usable powerband down low (not 224/224 territory, but something at least 228/232 .600"/.600" 112 LSA) Thanks for the help.

Yes, that's a custom cam. Call Comp. Or even better, call Futral and give them the specs and see what they can do. They always have good cams.

Did that fit without flycutting the pistons? I've never seen a duration split like that advertised before? Why the huge lift on the intake side?

I'm looking for something that will work with milled LS6 "style" Patriot Performance Stage II CNC ported heads. The heads won't go on until another year or so after the cam is installed.

I have been heavily debating going with a 228/232 112 LSA instead of the rather aggressive 236/242 110 LSA that is listed in my signature. Seems like great power is made throughout the RPM range with the 228/232 112 LSA even more than the 236/242, which is a higher-revving cam.

I won't be putting 4.10's in the 10-bolt and won't be running slicks on the stock rear either so I've been leaning in the direction of the 228/232 112 LSA cam. What are your opinions on this issue? Thanks for the help.

Why not get Ed Curtis to grind a custom cam for you, he can give you exactly what you looking for. Let a professional spec out a cam for you for a few extra dollars rather then just guessing!

I have talked with you before about setups. I was thinking the G5x2 specs with lsk lobes on the intake side like you said earlier. Im just concerned about PTV clearance on AFR heads milled to 59cc. Also should I run 7.425 pushrods vs 7.400?
Im also concerned with the SCR and DCR's being a little too much for 93 pump. Using the spread sheet I come up with 11.43 SCR and 8.81 DCR using pianoprodigy's excel spreasheet with AFR 59cc's and the 232 .643 and 240 .609 112+4.

torquer 2 worked great for me. stage 2 heads, 4000 stall and suspension netted me mid 11's.

That's precisely the plan so far, but I'm not sure yet whether it will be in the 228/232 range or the 236/242 range. I'll have to give him a call this coming week. Just got done installing some parts on my car so I can start thinking about this cam swap that will be done probably this coming April/May

looks like the cam that PREDATOR-Z spece out looks like it has good low end and a very nice top end and looks like it should be shifted around 6500 rpm.
PREDATOR-Z would you use that cam over the v.2 in a non DD that wants good low end but more top end to be shifted at 6500

would the lsk lobes hurt stock lifters with 100K?
fit with stock 98 heads?

XE-R can hurt 100K lifters, on a 100k motor (Especialy 98) I would advise changing lifters. yes the cam would fit any stock heads.
