First thing I would do is sit down with a shop like MTI or ARE. Jayson at MTI I am sure can help you pick out an excelent cam for your car, I have always had over the top help from the MTI crew with my cars whether it was for a cam or when i did my full car builup their.
a call is cheap and he can prob get you into a better cam setup and where you should be sitting
mti's number- 281-870-8787

bdawg, I am sure that you will pick up a lot with the right cam! 232/236 is a good cam! Go for it!
I should have the car by tomorrow and should be able to dyno next week. I drove it a bit and the Yalla Terra really quite the engine down! It pulls harder at higher RPM than before. I will let you all know how it goes!

Depending on what you are looking for I would go no smaller than 234 duration intake and exhaust on XE-R lobes on 112-114LSA. (Depends on where you want to peak you can grind some advance in)
Personally I would go pretty big. 236/244 112LSA.
Cheers,
Chris

I was out of town in Austin, let me think about this for a little bit.
Can you list all your mods, and your exhaust setup, and your AF ratio for the last two dyno sessions?

You want:
12:5:1 AF
36 lb injectors
26 degrees of timing
230/237/114 or bigger camshaft
-Keep it at 114 LSA the 112 stuff runs out too quick.
I have to run, I'll type more later.

bdawg, my #s you see are through a 3" y-pipe, no cats, and a cutout. You may gain up to 10 to 15 rwhp from a 3" exhaust system. I have seen about 10 rwhp gain by doing that!

You need a bigger cam, but decide on your drivability goals before going really big. A cam in the size of 228/228 112 - 230/230 114 will get almost all of your power from the motor and be tame.
Remember, Nineball's 382 big bore ran well with just the old T1 cam (221/221). Yes, Tony got more power with the T2, but it wasn't as huge as one might expect. Also, JPR has had good results with a TR 224 (also big bore).
Hopefully you'll find some other factors, like tuning. I doubt the cam is worth more than 30 - 50 HP.

A friend did a 236/240//111 in a 382ci conventional bore stroker and the car went 11.13@123mph at 3500 raceweight.
I'd change that and go like 232/237//114//+2.
3" exhaust will be worth more HP, but IMO you need to change the cam first, dial in your AF ratio and go from there. If you can't get your car's AF from a dyno, then I would go .900 on the 02's. 26 degrees of timing should be fine.
