Question 241/243 and the differences?

would I gain any power or better yet would it be worthwhile to even swap heads on my 02' WS6? right now intake, block and cam are the same but only the cam will be swapped in the future would I gain any significant power with the 243 heads over the 241 heads? I guess like I already said would it be worth the hassle?

Yes if your going to be in there doing a cam swap and are getting ls6 heads go for it! It would better if you get them ported that would get you a little more ponies out of it!

Where are you getting the heads? I've read in other threads that 243 take off's go for around $400. Pretty well falls in line with other mods...

Headers (hooker or similar) $400 - 20rwhp
Cam & springs $500 - $600 - 30-40rwhp

Definately try and get them ported before doing the swap. It'll make it more worth your while.

I'm gonna get a few other bolt ons first and see how far I can go with the 241 heads and a cam first!
