Default Confirm cam checklist for me.

Going cam only here in the next few weeks and for some reason I feel like I'm forgeting something. This is what I'm fixing to order:
-MS3 w/ spring and pushrod package
-Timing chain and ported oil pump package
-cam swap gasket kit
-SLP underdrive pulley
-rod bolts since I have a 2000 LS1
I know these are pretty much mandatory, but I feel like I'm forgeting something. Let me know if I am. Thanks.

Yep your right on the 6500rpms. The oil pan leaks a little so I already was gonna do the pan gasket along with o-ring since I gotta take it off to do the rod bolts anyway. Other than that the list looks good?

You should be fine with the fuel injectors...even if you're not, the PCM tuning will reveal that...no need to spend the $$ until you have to.

will probably do them together. Since I'm putting a 9" in also it will be easy to drop the tank.

you might need some bandaids , a 12 pack of your favortie beverage and being your here in the south dont get too hot . also a friend can come in handy for the radiator and some moral support .
the injectors will be running on the high end of the duty cycle but they should be ok unless you are going to spray .

Not planning on the spray. Any suggestions on what to get as far as injectors. I do plan on doing heads later so I know I'll need the 255 pump with them, but if I upgrade injectors I only want to do it once.

i went with the svo 30lb injectors.... the guys at speed inc told me they flow at 36lbs or so on an ls1 fuel system. You can even search on here and i am sure there has been a topic or two about them and their flow rates

Pin the balancer to the crank while you've got it apart. You'll also need a new tty balancer bolt (unless you've got an aftermarket bolt like ARP). And, get a longer bolt to get the balancer started when you reinstall it.

Well looks like I'm ready to go. Just got to buy all the parts and get started. To snake charmer I just installed A/C and Heat into my shop so the southern heat is beat.
