I am also interested in this. The V.2 has an 1800-6400 advertised powerband while the V.3 has 2300-6700 powerband. I would think that since the LSA of the V.3 is lower that the powerband would be similar since the duration is almost the same. Does the change in intake lift really make that much of a difference.

I'm looking at either the torquer or 228R for a winter project, input would be great.

I am also interested to see what the different intake lobes really add in the performance area.

TSP says the V3 is good for 10-15rwhp, I think, over the V2 and better midrange. PS if you want a V3 I have one in the for sale section.

v2 kicks ***, v3 kicks a lot of ***

There are more factors to the cam other than lift and duration.

The v3 has the lsk intake lobes which are supposed to have very aggressive valve events.

So i am guessing that the aggressive ramp rate on the lsk would givwe you the better mid range, due to higher lift sooner?
