what deffernt between 241 and 243 heads ?

Default what deffernt between 241 and 243 heads ?

can some one tell me the difference between the 241 and the 243 heads and wich would do better on a stock ls1 i have a cam that well be going in when i get the heads here the specs which head would be better with this cam?

i think there both ls6 heads but im not sure but you going to need some springs for that cam i think ls6 springs max out at .550 u might try 918 if your going cheap they can handle .600 lift but you have to replace them after 30k miles

Wow learn to type. But the 243s are LS6 heads, better flowing than the 241 LS1 heads.

A 241 casting is a LS1 head that comes with a 67cc chamber and flow around 220 stock. A 243 catings is a LS6/LS2 head that comes with a 64cc chamber and flow around 240 stock.

so can i put the 243 heads and the the cam on my car with just valve springs and will the valve clear the pistons ? or do i need push rods also will i need to tune the car or can i drive it with out a tune ?

damn, I thought they bloth flowed more then that?
